At Namati, Amanda Padilla works with senior leadership and country teams to cultivate and steward meaningful partnerships and identify and create high-exposure engagement opportunities for staff participation.

Padilla has worked in the human rights field since 2009 in various capacities including partnerships and outreach, philanthropy, event management, programs, and communications. Her previous clients included Humanity United, Article 3 Advisors, Legacy Venture, Lava Mae, and The Solutions Project.

Notably, she facilitated the philanthropic outreach for the Partnership for Freedom, a private-public initiative announced by President Obama in 2012, helping to strengthen donor relations and procure support for anti-trafficking and modern slavery eradication efforts. Additionally, she was on a team that created “Immersion Journey: Human Rights,” the first U.S. donor education program specifically geared towards human rights.

Padilla currently serves on the board of Article3.org – strengthening human rights focused philanthropy through education and awareness – and is on the planning committee for the annual A3A Human Rights Day event in San Francisco. In 2018, she received a Certificate of Honor from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors for advancing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights principles: the pursuit of justice, freedom and equality. From 2011-2012, she served on the Women’s Community Clinic Advisory Council, San Francisco.

Lastly, Padilla earned her M.A. in International Politics from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2017, she returned to the US after living in Asia, Africa, and Europe for two years.
